A Word About QUESTs

Guardians in good standing are invited to join in a week-long QUEST each quarter (Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring) in which students and accompanying family members outside the classroom. These weeks give students the chance to practice serving others, learn to plan, work as a team, participate in hands-on projects and experiences, become competent problem solvers, practice leadership, develop confidence, and uncover individual talents and interests, all while forming lasting friendships.

School Field Trip on a Saturday! Let's learn about the heritage of the Muskogee (Creek) at one of the best known pre-Columbian sites in Georgia and explore the ancient mounds built over one thousand years ago.

"The third weekend in September welcomes the Ocmulgee Indigenous Celebration. The event features Southeastern Native American artists, craftsmen, and educators who share their cultures through music, dance, demonstrations and more. Ocmulgee Mounds is the ancestral homeland of the Muscogee (Creek) people.
Celebration hours are 10:00am-5:00pm Saturday, 9/16/23 & Sunday, 9/17/23.
All parking is just down the road at 171 Emery Hwy with free, handicap accessible shuttle service that will deliver you to the event."
